White tea

The noblest art of tea drinking.

If you hear „White Peony“ or „Water Spirit“ or „Silver Needle“, you are not listening to names of expensive racing horses but white tea sorts. They belong to the most precious teas of all.

Handmade and with know-how to a unique flavour.

Maybe it has something to do with the Emperor of China who drank it as an antidote to dying over 3,000 years ago. It definitely has a lot to do with flavour and the complicated procedure making, white tea the most distinguished drink in a cup.

The product gets its name from the silvery down which surrounds the tea plants' buds. These are hand-picked and spread on large sieves. Controlled airing allows a natural process of withering to follow. They are then carefully dried at a low temperature. To prevent influencing colour or taste they must not be damaged in any way. The quality of the harvest and careful processing give white tea its unmistakable mild flavour.

Gratifies the palate and strengthens the immune system.

White tea not only influences the experts' palate but their whole wellbeing. As with green tea it can be stimulating or soothing. It also contains the same immune strengthening substances but in a higher concentration.

Please prepare as green tea but above all never use water hotter than 80° C.

They sat and drank by the tea table and talked about love a lot. The gentleman were aesthetic and the ladies of tender feeling.
