Bread is a welcome guest on everyone’s breakfast table and a perfect snack between meals. But eating the same bread all the time is boring, so why not bake some yourself? Simple, quick and totally according to your own taste! With our Veggie Tea Bread, you will do not only your palate a favour, but the palates of everyone around you.
- 8 g Veggie Tea, loose
- 400 g flour
- 250 ml water
- 1 packet dried yeast
- 5–10 g salt
- 30 ml oil
brew 5 g of Veggie Tea according to instructions and let it cool until lukewarm. If desired, you can grind the rest of the tea with a pestle and mortar.
Then add all the ingredients to a large bowl and knead into a dough. The dough should not be sticky so add more flour if necessary. Cover the dough with a clean towel and allow to rise for ca. 30 minutes until it is significantly larger. Now knead the dough once again and lay on a baking sheet.
Bake for ca. 30 minutes at 200°C.
