Served in a glass in French style

Ingredients (for 6 persons):
1 to 2 mandarins
200 ml peppermint tea
160 g sugar
Peppermint leaves for decoration
Peel and fillet 2 oranges and the grapefruits. Remove the skin carefully and cut pulp into small pieces. Peel mandarins, fillet them as well and cut into small pieces. Arrange in dessert glasses („verrines“).
Brew tea as described. Boil in a pot together with the juice of the third orange and the sugar and let simmer at low temperature until it turns into syrup. Pour the syrup over the fruit in the dessert glasses. Put into fridge. Garnish with peppermint leaves before serving.
