Creamy ice cream made from fine cocoa blends

Your favourite cocoa as a true all-rounder in summer! Our alveus® Cacao blends are the ideal basis for chocolaty refreshments and provide cool ice moments.

Ingredients (for 6 servings):

400ml milk

200g sugar

4 egg yolks

25g alveus® Cacao (choose a variety as you like)

200g cream

pinch of salt

2 tsp vanillin sugar

Preparation:

Mix the egg yolks and sugar in a bowl. Bring the milk to a boil in a pot and stir in the cocoa with a whisk. Pour the mixture from the bowl into the heated cocoa and simmer for about 8 minutes. Add salt, vanilla sugar and cream to the mixture and pour into a large bowl. Place them in the freezer with the lid closed and allow to cool until the mixture freezes slightly (about 1-2 hours). After this time, mix well until everything is loosened up again. Now repeat this process 3 times every half hour and pour into a storable form. Let it cool overnight.

You can refine this recipe at any time with pureed fruits, which you can mix with the cream in the bowl.
