175 ml tea of your choice (e.g. Alveus Fruity Brownie)

125 g butter

75 g sugar

1 egg

2 egg yolks

80 g ground almonds

180 g flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

For the meringue:

2 egg whites

80 g sugar

pomegranate seeds

Preparation cupcakes

Beat the butter together with the sugar until creamy. Then stir in the egg, egg yolks and ground almonds. Then add the flour, baking powder and a pinch of salt. Finally, add the cooled tea. Stir the dough well and then fill into the moulds. The dough is then baked at 190°C for 15-17 minutes.

Preparation meringue

The egg whites of the 2 eggs are whisked until stiff and the sugar has to be sprinkled. When the mixture is whisked stiff, the meringue can be placed on the cupcakes. The whole thing is then baked for another 1/2 to 1 minute. The finished cupcakes can also be decorated with pomegranate seeds.
